What is User Experience Design?
The deliverables are not used to bury your coworkers in design documentation but to drive the design process.
It is very unlikely you will use all of these techniques in each project, rather you will pick and choose which deliverables would best suit each problem. None of these should be created in stone, rather they should be continuously updated as you learn more about your users and your product.
Psychology plays a huge role in the user experience of a product. The nature of user experience is human-centered design.
Design psychology is a combination of neuroscience, cognitive psychology, social psychology, and human-computer-interaction that approaches user experience design through the lens of human behavior. By understanding how different psychology principles influence human behavior, we can design your products to elicit specific responses and actions from our target users.
Books I have already read, am currently reading, or are on my list to read. These books have opened doors for me and I thank each author for taking the time to write them.
Links to UX tools, websites, podcasts, YouTube shows, and more that I have found myself returning to over and over.
